back whatever is comfortable for you and youare just going to be lifting your leg off the ground right like this, so nice and slow.You can see my heels only coming about a foot off the ground; you don't have to go upall the way. When I first start out you can see my quad is getting nice and tight so thesemuscles right in the front are nice and tight and then I lift up. You can hold 35 secondsif you want to or just come up and down.

Hi! I am Monica and I am going to show youa stretch you can actually do for your hip and your knee if you are having arthritisproblems either on the floor or lying on your stomach on the bed. I will show you on thefloor here, so go ahead and lie on your stomach. I will show you on the left leg and what youare going to do is just grab your heel and slowly pull it towards your butt. So you shouldfeel a nice stretch all over the front of your leg right here. You should be holdingfrom anywhere from 3060 seconds. If this is kind of awkward for you, what you can dois grab a belt and put it around your foot and then just pull on the belt so it is notquite as awkward as reaching far back. You
can also see variations of this exercise orstretch standing. You can see people standing and pulling the heels to your butt, whichis fine too and whatever is more comfortable for you. So again a nice stretch for yourquads.
